Magic Knight Rayearth (2026)

Magic Knight Rayearth (2026) serves as a modern television adaptation of the classic 1990s manga series by CLAMP. Produced by E&H Production, this iteration was developed to reintroduce the seminal magical girl and isekai hybrid to a contemporary audience, maintaining the core narrative of three schoolgirls transported to the mystical world of Cephiro. The project follows a long history of franchise reinterpretations, aiming to elevate the original aesthetic while adapting the pacing to suit current viewing habits.

The visual design of this series reflects a deliberate shift toward updated animation techniques, balancing the ethereal, ornate artistic style characteristic of CLAMP’s original illustrations with the fluidity of modern digital production. E&H Production focused on preserving the emotional gravity of the protagonists' journey while refining the mechanical and creature designs that defined the series' early reputation. Upon its announcement, the project was met with significant anticipation from long-time fans of the 1994 original, serving as a landmark revival for the storied franchise.
