MAKE A GIRL

Make A Girl is a 2025 animated feature film produced by Yasuda Genshou Studio by Xenotoon. Directed and written by Yasuda Genshou, the project originated from the director's background as an independent 3D animator who gained significant prominence through his viral, self-taught techniques shared on social media. The film represents a major studio-level expansion of his signature aesthetic, characterized by highly expressive character movement and detailed cinematic lighting that bridges the gap between traditional anime sensibilities and modern 3D rendering.

The narrative focuses on a young man named Akira who creates an artificial girl in an attempt to be his partner, exploring themes of human connection and technology. The film's design aesthetic prioritizes high-fidelity character models that maintain the stylistic charm of 2D art while utilizing the spatial freedom of 3D environments. It was developed to push the visual capabilities of a smaller, independent-turned-commercial studio, garnering attention for its ambitious technical craft and the unique creative path of its director within the Japanese animation industry.
