Miami☆Guns

Miami☆Guns was produced by Group TAC and premiered in 2000 as a 13-episode anime television series. The project emerged from a landscape of late-nineties and early-millennial action-comedy anime that often blended slapstick humor with stylized depictions of law enforcement or detective tropes. The series follows two female bounty hunters, Lu and Yao, as they navigate the chaotic environment of Miami, emphasizing a bright, punchy aesthetic that leaned heavily into the visual language of the time.

The series is largely remembered as a niche title within the broader Group TAC filmography. It aimed to capture a high-energy, irreverent tone, though it received a relatively modest critical reception upon its release. While it did not reach the cultural ubiquity of other action series from that era, it remains a documented example of the studio's experimentation with comedic character dynamics and lighthearted procedural narratives during the turn of the millennium.
