Where it came from
Miko Note Episode '0': Zenjitsutan was produced by studio Graphinica and released in 2022 as a promotional ONA designed to introduce the world and characters of the Miko Note multimedia project. The short serves as a prequel, establishing the narrative foundation for the accompanying mobile game, focusing on the supernatural skirmishes between shrine maidens and mysterious entities known as 'Specters'.
The production sought to showcase the visual identity of the franchise, leaning into the character-driven aesthetic common in contemporary anime promotional materials.
