Minna Atsumare! Falcom Gakuen

Minna Atsumare! Falcom Gakuen emerged in 2014 as a comedic tribute to the storied history of the Japanese video game developer Nihon Falcom. Produced by DAX Production, the series was created to celebrate the company's legacy by gathering iconic protagonists from various titles—most notably the Trails and Ys franchises—into a shared, chaotic high school setting. This crossover approach allowed the studio to lean into self-aware humor, playfully deconstructing the tropes of Falcom's serious role-playing games.

The series was adapted from an existing four-panel manga serialization and designed with a distinct chibi art style to emphasize its lighthearted tone. By placing stoic heroes in mundane academic situations, the design team aimed to provide a refreshing, lower-stakes contrast to the epic narratives typical of Falcom's catalog. Upon its release, the show was received primarily as a niche fan-service project, appreciated by the community for its niche references and the opportunity to see disparate series characters interact in a casual environment.
