"未ル(Miru): Paths To My Future", an anthology anime series by five animation studios.
A Story of Encounters between Humanity and a Robot.
Born in a distant future, MIRU, a weaponless robot, travels across time to support people from different eras. MIRU meets individuals from different times and places, people who, despite their struggles, live their lives with determination.
Through their encounters with MIRU, people take small yet meaningful steps forward. These steps, like the "Butterfly Effect," create waves of change, moving toward a brighter future.
"The future is in our hands."
A story that reminds us of the power in every small beginning.

Where it came from
MIRU: Paths to My Future, produced by the studio LinQ, emerged in 2025 as a distinct entry in the landscape of contemporary animated television. Developed within the context of expanding experimental narrative structures, the project was designed to explore themes of personal agency and temporal progression through an episodic format. Its inception reflects a broader industry movement toward blending traditional aesthetic sensibilities with modern character-driven storytelling.
The creative direction behind the series emphasizes a minimalist visual language intended to keep the viewer focused on the philosophical evolution of its protagonist. While the series maintains a niche presence within the medium, its reception has been noted for its contemplative pacing and its departure from conventional action-oriented tropes. The design philosophy centers on a deliberate clarity of form, prioritizing atmospheric world-building and character introspection over complex spectacle.
