Where it came from
Naruto, the Genie, and the Three Wishes, Believe It! was produced by Studio Pierrot and released in 2010 as part of the promotional material surrounding the popular Naruto Shippuden anime franchise. This short special was included as a bonus feature on the DVD release of the film Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Lost Tower, serving as an Omake or 'extra' that leans into the comedic sensibilities often found in the series' lighter supplemental content.
The animation features the character designs established for the Shippuden era, maintaining the visual consistency of the studio's broader television run. Intended as a brief, humorous deviation from the heavy narrative arcs of the main story, the short highlights the interplay between the established cast members in a self-contained, fantastical scenario. It is regarded by fans primarily as a piece of lighthearted series memorabilia rather than a significant narrative contribution to the official canon.
