Night Head 2041 was produced in 2021 by Shirogumi as a modern reimagining of the cult classic 1992 Japanese television drama Night Head. Directed by Takamitsu Hirakawa with original creator George Iida returning to handle the series composition, the project sought to translate the psychic-themed narrative into a full 3D CG anime format. The series focuses on the Kirihara brothers, who possess supernatural powers, as they navigate a dystopian future that forces them to confront deep-seated themes of destiny and societal control.
