Night on the Galactic Railroad

Released in 1985 by Group TAC, Night on the Galactic Railroad is an animated adaptation of Kenji Miyazawa’s beloved 1927 children’s novel. The film was commissioned to honor the literary legacy of Miyazawa, a seminal figure in Japanese literature whose work often blends Buddhist philosophy with cosmic fantasy.
