No Doubt in Us Part 2

No Doubt in Us Part 2 is an installment in the Chinese web-animated series, or ONA, produced by Paper Plane Animation Studio. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the series adapted the popular manhua of the same name, which explores themes of identity and gender-swapping through a comedic historical fantasy lens. The animation was developed to capitalize on the rising popularity of 3D-style Chinese animation, aiming to deliver a polished visual experience that remains faithful to the character dynamics of the original print source.

The design of the series centers on the sharp contrast between the main characters, an emperor and his empress, who suddenly find their souls swapped after falling into a pond. The studio focused on expressive facial characterizations and period-appropriate costuming to distinguish the two leads as they navigate each other’s lives and political responsibilities. Upon release, it was generally well-received by fans of the manhua for its faithful adherence to the source material's plot and its consistent production quality within the streaming animation market.
