Where it came from
Phantom Alchemia: Sylvia no Dokidoki Sakusei Toshi Keikaku was produced by Studio Majin petit and released as an original video animation in 2026. The project emerged during a period of experimentation within niche independent animation circles, aiming to blend traditional alchemy-themed fantasy tropes with the distinct character-focused urban development simulation mechanics often found in contemporary Japanese visual media.
The animation was conceptualized to highlight a whimsical aesthetic, with character designs intended to evoke a sense of playfulness and architectural curiosity. While the production is considered a specialty release, it garnered interest among collectors for its specific artistic departure from the studio's earlier work, serving as a self-contained narrative piece that explores the intersection of magical world-building and lighthearted city management.
