Momo and Komomo can deliver mail from anyone, to anyone. To anywhere in the world, the galaxy, or the universe. Under the sea, high up in the clouds, and around the corner. To the past, the present, or the future. They both work tirelessly to insure that the important letters of people are delivered, while Komomo also works hard to keep the ever distracted Momo on task.

Where it came from
PostPet Momobin was produced in 2004 as part of the broader PostPet franchise, which originated as an innovative email software developed by Sony Communication Network in the late 1990s. The series centers on anthropomorphic virtual pets, and Momobin was designed as part of a push to expand the brand's narrative footprint through animation, capitalizing on the immense popularity the digital characters had already garnered among Japanese internet users.
The character design reflects the distinct, minimalist aesthetic established by Kazuhiko Hachiya, the creator of the PostPet universe. In this television adaptation, the goal was to translate the interactive, whimsical spirit of the desktop pets into a narrative format. While the show was primarily aimed at children and fans of the software, it is remembered for its lighthearted, surreal tone that mirrored the quirky nature of the original email interface.
