PSYCHO-PASS 3

Psycho-Pass 3 was produced by Production I.G and premiered in 2019 as the third major installment in the long-running cyberpunk franchise. Following the established narrative of the Sibyl System—a pervasive, psychometric policing network—this series pivoted to a new set of protagonists, inspectors Arata Shindo and Kei Mikhail Ignatov. The production sought to expand the scope of the series into more complex political and immigration-related themes, departing from the narrower focus on criminal profiling seen in earlier seasons.

The character designs for this iteration were provided by Akira Amano, who returned to the franchise to lend her distinctively sharp and fluid aesthetic to the new cast. The series was noted for its longer, hour-long episode format, which represented a shift in the series' pacing intended to accommodate deeper world-building.
