Punirunes Puni 3

The Punirunes Puni 3 television series, produced by OLM and released in 2025, serves as a direct expansion of the interactive digital pet franchise initially developed by Takara Tomy. The series was designed to build upon the existing narrative world of the Punirunes, which centers on sentient, squishy creatures that reside within a tactile handheld device. By translating these digital entities into a serialized animation format, the production team sought to humanize the creatures, giving them distinct personalities and environments that the physical toy could only hint at through its limited display.

Directed under the established animation standards of OLM, the show emphasizes the aesthetic charm and soft, rounded character designs that define the brand. The artistic direction prioritizes a vibrant, welcoming color palette intended to appeal to the younger demographic that engages with the hardware. Since its debut, the series has functioned as a cornerstone of the brand's multimedia presence, effectively bridging the gap between the tactile experience of the toy and the broader storytelling potential of the Punirunes universe.
