Run Ra Run

Run Ra Run, known in its original Kannada as Ranna, is a 2015 Indian action drama film directed by Nanda Kishore. It serves as an official remake of the 2013 Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi, adapted to suit the stylistic preferences of the Kannada film industry's mass-market audience. The production sought to blend high-octane action sequences with the family-oriented emotional beats that define the genre, positioning it as a major tentpole release for its lead star.

The film's visual identity and narrative execution were heavily centered around showcasing the charisma of Kichcha Sudeep, who portrays the lead protagonist. Upon its release, the film was received primarily by a devoted fan base as a commercial entertainer, with critics noting its reliance on established tropes of the 'family-feud-turned-reconciliation' narrative. It remains a representative example of mid-2010s South Indian commercial cinema, where star power and grand production design were utilized to anchor long-form dramatic storytelling.
