Shen Qi Huan Qi Tan

Shen Qi Huan Qi Tan, known internationally as Dragon Nest: Warriors' Dawn, was produced by Mili Pictures and released in 2014. As an original net animation and feature film project, it was designed to expand the narrative universe of the popular Dragon Nest massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The production aimed to bridge the gap between niche gaming culture and mainstream cinematic animation, utilizing high-end 3D rendering to bring the game's expansive fantasy world to life for a broader audience.

The visual design and animation direction were spearheaded by a team focused on capturing the aesthetic hallmarks of the game's original character designs while integrating them into a more polished, filmic scope. Upon its release, the project was noted for its technical ambition in the Chinese animation industry, receiving positive reception for its commitment to high-fidelity visual storytelling. It stands as a significant example of the crossover between video game intellectual property and Chinese digital media production during the mid-2010s.
