Where it came from
Shikiyoku INFINITE is a 2020 original video animation produced by the Japanese studio Queen Bee. The work emerged from the studio's specialized focus on adult-oriented animated content, operating within the specific market of late-night OVA productions that prioritize stylized visual aesthetics and character-driven narratives over mainstream accessibility.
The animation reflects the studio's recurring design language, characterized by a distinct approach to character proportion and vibrant color palettes intended to maximize visual impact within the limited duration of an OVA format. As a niche release, the work functions as a self-contained entry in the studio's broader catalog, catering primarily to an established audience familiar with the studio's aesthetic evolution and narrative tropes.
