Shuumatsu no Valkyrie IV

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, known internationally as Record of Ragnarok, originated as a manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, illustrated by Ajichika. It debuted in Monthly Comic Zenon in 2017 before being adapted into an anime series produced by Graphinica and distributed by Warner Bros. Japan. The narrative centers on a tournament held between humanity's greatest historical figures and various deities to determine the fate of the human race, a premise that draws heavily on mythic archetypes and high-stakes battle tropes.

The fourth volume of the manga collects the continuing struggle within the arena, maintaining the distinct, hyper-stylized aesthetic that has become a hallmark of the franchise. Upon its release, the series garnered attention for its intense character designs and creative reinterpretations of mythological and historical icons. While critics often note the series for its focus on spectacle and stylized combat, it has cultivated a significant international audience, leading to the creation of the animated adaptation that further expanded its cultural reach.
