Naoko Yamada-directed anime film Kimi no Iro (The Colors Within) released a special "dance" video – though, it’s a little more on-beat for the creator who enjoys showcasing her characters goofing around and showing their personality through movement.
The video contains wholly original footage, presented in a TikTok-like format and follows the three main characters, Kimi, Totsuko and Rui, dancing along to the insert song “Sui Kin Chi Ka Moku Dotten Amen” with moves that are reminiscent of those popular with those who upload short-form dance videos.

Where it came from
The Sui Kin Chi Ka Moku Dotten Amen SP Dance PV is a specialized promotional visual produced by Toho, intended to accompany the music and media projects associated with the broader franchise. These promotional pieces were developed during a period when Japanese studios began experimenting with higher-fidelity digital animation to drive interest in soundtracks and character-themed multimedia releases.
The design of this PV reflects the vibrant, character-centric aesthetic prevalent in early 2000s Japanese media marketing. By emphasizing dynamic choreography and specific color palettes intended to represent individual characters, the production aimed to bridge the gap between static print illustrations and full-scale animated features. While primarily serving as a promotional vessel, the piece was well-received by fans of the franchise for its polished technical execution and its role in expanding the visual identity of the series.
