Taiyou to Tsuki no Kodomo-tachi (2018)

Taiyou to Tsuki no Kodomo-tachi is a conceptual multimedia project released by Avex Entertainment in 2018. The work emerged from the studio's broader efforts to blend narrative storytelling with music and visual art, characteristic of the Japanese idol and music production landscape of the late 2010s. It was conceived as a creative venture to explore themes of duality and celestial mythology through a blend of vocal performance and character-driven design.

The project's aesthetic was heavily influenced by contemporary anime character design standards, prioritizing expressive, ethereal visuals that complement its thematic focus on the sun and moon. By integrating musical production with artistic illustration, Avex aimed to engage fans through an immersive audiovisual experience. While the release served as a niche entry in Avex’s diverse catalog, it was received primarily as a project for dedicated collectors of multimedia music releases who appreciate the synergy between Japanese pop sensibilities and atmospheric conceptual art.
