"Power is everything." Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage — The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Where it came from
Tekken: Bloodline was released in 2022 as an original net animation series, produced by Studio Hibari and distributed through Netflix. The project was designed to adapt the narrative arc of the 1999 video game Tekken 3, focusing on the character Jin Kazama as he seeks revenge for the death of his mother, Jun, under the tutelage of his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima.
The production sought to blend traditional 2D character animation with 3D elements, aiming to replicate the iconic aesthetic of the game's character models while maintaining a cinematic flow. The series was met with interest from long-time fans for its faithful inclusion of classic combat animations and stages, serving as an attempt to modernize the franchise's lore for a streaming audience.
