The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten2

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a television anime series based on the light novel series written by Saeki-san and illustrated by Hazano Kazutake. The 2026 production serves as a continuation of the romantic comedy narrative, which follows the developing relationship between Amane Fujimiya and his neighbor, Mahiru Shiina. The adaptation was produced to further explore the quiet, character-driven dynamics that defined the original written work.

The series' visual direction maintains the aesthetic established in the franchise's earlier installments, focusing on soft character designs and slice-of-life atmosphere. The studio, Toho, oversaw the production with an emphasis on atmospheric storytelling, aiming to translate the intimate tone of the source material into a serialized television format. It has been received as a faithful expansion of the series' established brand, catering to an audience that values slow-burn romantic progression.
