The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids -A Tank with a Rare 9999 Resistance Skill Got Kicked from the Hero's Party-

The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids, known in Japan as Saikyo no Tank no Meikyu Koryaku, originated as a light novel series written by Ryujin Keima and illustrated by Shizuki Hitomi. It follows Rud, a tank class adventurer whose journey begins after he is abruptly expelled from the Hero's party due to a misunderstanding regarding his seemingly low-utility defensive skills, specifically his rare 9999 resistance stat. The narrative explores themes of resilience and self-discovery as Rud builds his own party while uncovering the true potential of his unique abilities.

The 2024 anime adaptation was produced by Studio Polon, marking a significant entry for the studio in the fantasy adventure genre. Directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani, the production sought to emphasize the tactical nature of dungeon crawling while highlighting the protagonist's growth from an undervalued support member to a powerhouse leader. The series was met with interest from audiences familiar with the 'kicked from the party' subgenre of fantasy fiction, focusing on the visual execution of Rud's defensive techniques against the challenging monsters of the labyrinth.
