Where it came from
Ura・jutaizima is an original video animation (OVA) produced by Bunny Walker and released in 2018. The work emerged from the niche industry of independent adult animation studios in Japan, characterized by a focus on experimental narrative structures and distinct aesthetic choices that differ from the high-production values of mainstream commercial anime studios.
The production reflects the studio's broader commitment to stylized, character-driven storytelling, utilizing a minimalist approach to animation that prioritizes atmospheric tension and thematic cohesion. While the work occupies a specialized corner of the market, it is frequently cited by collectors for its idiosyncratic visual direction and its adherence to the specific stylistic tropes associated with Bunny Walker’s limited-run catalog.
