Usavich ZERO

Usavich ZERO serves as a prequel to the cult-classic slapstick series produced by Kanaban Graphics, first premiering in 2015. While the original series followed the prison exploits of rabbits Kirenenko and Putin, this iteration focuses on the characters' earlier, more innocent days, offering a stylistic bridge to the franchise's absurdist aesthetic. It was developed to capitalize on the enduring popularity of the surreal, wordless humor that defined the studio's early work in the late 2000s.

The production maintains the signature minimalist 3D animation style associated with creator Satoshi Tomioka. By stripping back the narrative complexity to focus on brief, high-energy vignettes, Kanaban Graphics aimed to recapture the frenetic, dark-comedy appeal of the original shorts. The series was met with appreciation from the existing fanbase, who valued the preservation of the distinct, quirky visual language that has become synonymous with the studio's broader body of work.
