Wagnaria!!2

Wagnaria!!2, known in Japan as Working'!!, was produced by A-1 Pictures and released in 2011 as the second season of the anime adaptation of Karino Takatsu's four-panel manga series. The series chronicles the daily lives of the eccentric staff at the Wagnaria family restaurant in Hokkaido, expanding on the character dynamics and comedic relationships established in the first season. It maintained the show's hallmark blend of workplace comedy and situational humor, anchored by the lead character Sota Takanashi's fascination with small, cute things.

The animation direction was handled by Atsushi Nishigori, who sought to capture the expressive, fast-paced comedic timing essential to the original manga's pacing. The series was well-received by fans of the slice-of-life genre, praised for its tight ensemble cast and consistent character development. Its production by Aniplex placed it within a broader wave of successful manga-to-anime transitions during the early 2010s, solidifying the franchise's popularity and eventually leading to a third season and a television special.
