Where it came from
With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun was released in 2020 by the animation studio Team TillDawn. The series emerged as a slice-of-life project centered on the relatable, often chaotic domestic experiences of living with both a canine and a feline companion, tapping into a popular niche of pet-centric storytelling that emphasizes the differing temperaments of the two animals.
The animation style was designed to favor accessibility and warmth, prioritizing expressive character acting that highlights the humorous contrasts between the dog’s exuberant affection and the cat’s aloof yet loving nature. Upon its release, the series was received by audiences as a lighthearted, comforting look at pet ownership, finding success among viewers who appreciated its straightforward narrative and focus on daily domestic joys.
