Xiao Motou Baolu La! 2

Xiao Motou Baolu La! 2, also known as The Little Devil Is Escaped!, is a Chinese animated ONA produced by the streaming platform bilibili. Released as a continuation of its predecessor, the series falls within the broader trend of 'donghua'—Chinese animation—that gained significant momentum in the late 2010s. The series was developed to cater to domestic digital audiences, focusing on fast-paced, episodic storytelling that leans into comedic and lighthearted tropes familiar to fans of contemporary internet culture.

The animation style and character designs for the series emphasize a clean, stylized aesthetic typical of modern ONA production, designed for easy consumption on mobile devices and digital platforms. The project reflects bilibili’s strategic expansion into original content creation, positioning itself as a hub for animators who utilize digital-first workflows to reach younger demographics. Its reception has been largely defined by its core audience on the platform, where it serves as a staple of the site's varied catalog of short-form, animated entertainment.
