Yanguang Coffee Ting Zhi Xin You Ji

Yanguang Coffee Ting Zhi Xin You Ji, also known as 'Travels of the Heart in the Sunshine Coffee Shop', is a Chinese original net animation (ONA) produced by the Bilibili platform. Released as part of the studio's broader initiative to foster domestic animation talent, the series emerged from a push to adapt popular web-based literary works and original scripts that resonate with younger demographics seeking low-stakes, slice-of-life storytelling. It represents the growing trend of high-quality, character-driven animation in China, focusing on aesthetic atmosphere and relatable emotional narratives.

The visual design of the series leans into the 'healing' or iyashikei genre, characterized by soft color palettes, detailed backgrounds of urban coffee culture, and fluid character animation that emphasizes subtle facial expressions over high-octane action. The series was designed to provide a meditative viewing experience, reflecting a deliberate departure from the more common martial arts or fantasy themes that dominate the Chinese animation market. It was received by domestic audiences as a gentle exploration of personal introspection, often praised for its sound design and the inviting, intimate atmosphere of the titular coffee shop setting.
