Comedy anime about the generation gaps. The three main characters represent the major generations of Japanese; Yutori (teenagers), Tsumekomi (20-30s) and Dankai (middle age). Tsumekomi-chan is an office worker in a toy company and supervises the part-time working student Yutori-chan. She tries to get along with Yutori-chan but her selfish behavior typical of the Yutori generation is incomprehensible.

Where it came from
Yutori-chan is a 2009 original net animation produced by the studio Actas, primarily known for its role as a promotional vehicle for the Yutori-chan character goods brand. The series was designed to explore the concept of the yutori generation, a term used in Japan to describe young people raised under a relaxed educational curriculum, often characterized in media of the time as lacking practical life skills or traditional work ethic.
The character designs were created by artist Kasuho, whose whimsical, rounded style was intended to soften the satirical nature of the premise. While the shorts aimed to present a humorous take on generational clashes within the workplace, the series functioned largely as a niche experimental project rather than a mainstream broadcast hit, remaining a curious relic of the late-2000s trend of bite-sized, web-distributed animation.
