Arabian Bustard

The Arabian Bustard, Ardeotis arabs, is a large bird of the bustard family native to the arid grasslands and semi-deserts of the Arabian Peninsula and sub-Saharan Africa. Evolutionarily adapted to life in open, dry landscapes, it possesses a characteristic broad wing shape designed for sustained flight over long distances and a rounded tail that aids in stability while maneuvering through sparse shrubbery.
