Australian Masked-Owl

The Australian Masked-Owl, Tyto novaehollandiae, is a large, powerful nocturnal predator native to the coastal regions of Australia and southern New Guinea. It belongs to the Tytonidae family, sharing the distinctive heart-shaped facial disc characteristic of barn owls.
