Buffy-fronted Seedeater

The Buffy-fronted Seedeater, scientifically classified as Sporophila frontalis, is a species of songbird endemic to the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil and northern Argentina. Its evolutionary history is deeply tied to the bamboo thickets of the region, as its life cycle and diet are inextricably linked to the flowering cycles of native bamboo species like Chusquea.
