Cinnamon-rumped Trogon

The Cinnamon-rumped Trogon, scientifically classified as Harpactes orrhophaeus, represents a specialized member of the Trogonidae family native to the lowland rainforests of the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo. As a species, it evolved within the dense, humid understory of primary evergreen forests, developing distinct morphological traits such as rounded wings and a rounded tail to facilitate agile, short-burst flight amidst thick vegetation.
