Crested Bobwhite

The Crested Bobwhite (Colinus cristatus) is a species of New World quail native to the scrublands, savannas, and open forests of northern South America and parts of Central America. Taxonomically, the species is defined by its distinctive, forward-curving crest, a feature that distinguishes it from its northern relatives.
