Gray-streaked Flycatcher

The Gray-streaked Flycatcher (Muscicapa griseisticta) is a migratory passerine bird that breeds in the forested regions of northeastern Asia, including parts of Siberia, Sakhalin, and Japan. These birds were historically documented by naturalists during the nineteenth century, as Western ornithologists began to formally catalog the biodiversity of the East Asian boreal and temperate zones.
