Green Warbler-Finch

The Green Warbler-Finch, scientifically classified as Certhidea olivacea, is a member of the iconic Darwin’s finches, a group of passerine birds endemic to the Galápagos Islands. Evolutionary biologists have long studied this species as a primary example of adaptive radiation, where a single ancestral population evolved distinct physical traits to exploit different ecological niches across the archipelago.
