Gundlach's Hawk

Gundlach's hawk, also known as the Gundlach's goshawk, is an elusive bird of prey endemic to the forests of Cuba. It was formally described in 1860 by the naturalist Juan Gundlach, whose extensive field work across the Cuban archipelago identified many species now critical to understanding the island's unique biodiversity.
