Red-billed Tropicbird

The Red-billed Tropicbird, Phaethon aethereus, is a pelagic seabird primarily distributed across the tropical Atlantic, eastern Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Evolutionarily adapted for life on the open sea, the species is defined by its distinct soaring wing shape and exceptionally long, narrow, forked central tail feathers, which can extend significantly beyond its body length.
