Rufous Hornbill

The Rufous Hornbill, scientifically classified as Buceros hydrocorax, is an iconic avian species endemic to the Philippines. Evolutionary biologists categorize it as a member of the Bucerotidae family, defined by its massive, down-curved casque that serves as both a structural feature and a visual signal in the dense canopy of tropical rainforests.
