Torresian Imperial-Pigeon

The Torresian Imperial-Pigeon, Ducula spilorrhoa, is a striking arboreal species native to the tropical regions of northern Australia and New Guinea. Often referred to as the nutmeg pigeon, it is historically significant for its annual migratory patterns, moving between coastal islands and the mainland to breed.
