Vieillot's Black Weaver

Vieillot's Black Weaver, scientifically classified as Ploceus nigerrimus, was first formally described by the French ornithologist Louis Pierre Vieillot in 1819. As a member of the Ploceidae family, the species is native to the forests and wooded savannahs of Central and West Africa.
