Clarity

Clarity was written by Jamie Smart as a practical application of the 'Three Principles' psychological model, a framework that posits that mental wellbeing is innate and independent of external circumstances. Published by John Wiley & Sons in 2013, the book emerged during a period of growing interest in mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral wellness literature, aiming to provide readers with a guide to achieving mental clarity by shifting their understanding of how their own thoughts shape their perceived reality.

The design and tone of the book reflect Smart's background in coaching and his goal to present complex psychological concepts in an accessible, non-academic format. By focusing on the 'inside-out' nature of human experience, the work is intended to help readers move away from diagnostic labeling toward an intuitive understanding of the mind. It has been well-regarded within the self-help and professional coaching communities for its ability to simplify esoteric psychological theories for a general audience.
