Dark Lord: The Early Years was released in 2012 by Scholastic as the inaugural entry in Jamie Thomson’s humorous middle-grade fantasy series. The story follows a powerful dark overlord who is banished from his dimension and trapped in the body of a thirteen-year-old boy living in the suburbs of modern-day England.
