Dve tetradi Evgenii Levit͡skoĭ

Dve tetradi Evgenii Levit͡skoĭ, published in 2005 by Golos-Press, serves as a literary collection that compiles the personal writings and reflections of Evgenia Grigoryevna Levitskaya. As a dedicated librarian and cultural figure, Levitskaya was known for her close association with the literary elite of the Soviet era, most notably her lifelong friendship and correspondence with the Nobel laureate Boris Pasternak. This volume was curated to provide insight into her intellectual world and the historical backdrop of mid-20th-century Russian literary circles.

The book captures a deeply intimate perspective, drawing from Levitskaya's experiences navigating the complex social and political constraints of her time. The design and editorial approach of the Golos-Press edition emphasize a documentary style, prioritizing the raw, archival value of her notebooks over ornate presentation. While the work functions as a niche historical document, it has been received by scholars as a valuable primary source for understanding the personal networks that sustained prominent Russian authors during periods of significant state censorship.
