God's Hand Upon My Life

God's Hand Upon My Life was self-published in 1986 by Abram J. Friesen, a Mennonite author residing in Clearbrook, British Columbia. The work functions primarily as a personal memoir and spiritual reflection, documenting Friesen's experiences through the mid-20th century. Like many publications of its kind from the Mennonite community in the Fraser Valley during this era, the book served as a vehicle to preserve family history and theological testimonies for subsequent generations.

The volume reflects the modest aesthetic of small-press, locally distributed autobiographical literature common to the period. Friesen designed the work to provide a narrative of divine providence throughout his personal struggles and successes. While it did not receive widespread commercial distribution or formal literary critique, the book remains a localized document of interest to researchers of Mennonite genealogy and the social history of the British Columbian religious landscape.
