Il fine dell'uomo nella teologia di Tommaso d'Aquino

Published in 2003 by the Pontificia Università Gregoriana, this scholarly work by Alfonso Valsecchi offers a focused investigation into the teleology of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The text emerged from the rigorous academic environment of the Gregorian University in Rome, a leading center for ecclesiastical studies, and was produced to contribute to the long-standing tradition of Thomistic commentary that defines much of Catholic moral theology.

The book is a specialized study intended primarily for theologians, philosophers, and graduate students of medieval thought. Valsecchi centers his inquiry on the concept of 'finis ultimus'—the ultimate end of human existence—within the framework of the Summa Theologica. By analyzing the structural coherence of Aquinas's theology, the author aims to clarify the relationship between human action and divine beatitude, presenting the work as a technical contribution to systematic theology rather than a general-interest title.
