Kariba

Kariba, published in 2018 by the Cape Town-based Blue Forest Collective, originated as an ambitious creative project aimed at bringing African mythology to a modern, graphic-novel-style audience. Developed as a collaborative effort between Daniel Clarke and the studio, the book serves as a visual adaptation of a short film project of the same name. It was crafted to showcase local storytelling traditions through a high-quality, illustrative lens that balances traditional folklore with contemporary character design.
