MYTHIC #13

Mythic #13 is a volume within the broader Mythic anthology series, a long-running publication dedicated to showcasing science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction short stories. Published in 2020 by Founders House Publishing LLC, this specific edition continues the series' tradition of providing a platform for both emerging and established voices in genre fiction, operating under the editorial vision of Shaun Kilgore to foster imaginative storytelling that balances classic tropes with contemporary narrative styles.

The design and curation of the Mythic series emphasize accessibility for readers who appreciate the magazine-style format of independent speculative fiction. As an anthology, the work serves as a snapshot of the trends in independent publishing during the early 2020s, focusing on thematic variety and character-driven plots. While specific design credits for this individual cover are often held within the house style of the publisher, the series is widely regarded by collectors of independent periodicals as a consistent effort to maintain the legacy of pulp-era speculative magazines in a modern digital and print-on-demand landscape.
