Opera Hactenus Inedita Rogeri Baconi; Volume 3

Opera Hactenus Inedita Rogeri Baconi, originally edited by Robert Steele and published in the early 20th century, serves as a critical collection of previously unpublished works by the 13th-century philosopher and scientist Roger Bacon. This scholarly series was established to provide academics with access to Bacon’s complex thoughts on natural philosophy, linguistics, and theology, which had remained largely trapped in obscure medieval manuscripts for centuries.

The 2023 edition published by Creative Media Partners is a modern reprint designed to preserve these foundational historical texts for contemporary researchers and institutional libraries. By leveraging print-on-demand technology, this release ensures that Steele’s rigorous editorial work remains accessible, maintaining the scholarly standards of the original Oxford University Press volumes while providing a durable reference for those studying medieval intellectual history.
